Galle: Traditional Jewelry Making Workshop with Transfers

This workshop demonstrates you how to make a custom piece of jewelry using Silver in traditional way . Your "experience" is to actively participate and get your hands on Melting metals/Gauging/ Soldering/Designing/Hammering/ Embedding gems/Smoothing and Polishing involves in jewelry making. You will become familiar with all Traditional techniques that are involved.

* Touch and examine gems from local mines & Learn how to Identify real gems from artificial ones.
* Buy all types of gemstones and custom made jewelries for a reasonable price.

private transportation is provided by a Tuk Tuk on both ways to your hotel "only "inside the Galle,Galle Fort,Unawatuna and boossa area with in 12km radius.

• This is a working demonstration class that demonstrates how to make a piece of jewelry , so If you wish to keep what you make, then you have to pay extra for gemstones and metal included in the piece for a reasonable price.
• Jewelry making is a craft that takes time to master so don't expect to do the whole process of jewelry making by yourself, we do difficult steps and you do a considerable amount of work by yourself under our guidance
• This experience can take longer than 3 hours depending on how long you will take for each step so be flexible with your schedule when you come.
